He has 20 years’ experience in international financial markets, involving investment in infrastructure, real estate, private equity and listed securities. He launched SDCL’s energy efficiency business and contributes to government initiatives on energy efficiency in the UK and overseas.
Warren PimmPartner, SDCL UK
Warren joined SDCL with a focus on financial advisory and capital markets. Prior to SDCL, he worked with the corporate finance group of Canaccord Adams Limited (UK) in London, where he focussed on
global capital markets and mergers and acquisitions across the diversified and sustainable sectors.
He is a former principal and co-founder of Berkshire Securities Inc. where he established and led its Capital Markets Group, and was responsible for leading the development of Berkshire Securities into a leading independent Canadian investment bank, growing the organization from start-up to over 2,200 professionals, $12.5 billion in client assets, and 200 offices. Warren has completed over 80 separate underwriting transactions collectively raising over $9.8 billion in total equity capital. Warren earned a Masters in Business Administration from the Segal Graduate School of Business, and a B.A. (Economics) from the University of Calgary.
He is a CFA® Charterholder and a Member of the CFA Institute, and the CFA UK.
David HourihaneDirector, SDCL Ireland
David joined SDCL to focus on energy efficiency and lead its Dublin office.
He is a qualified lawyer with a specialisation in energy efficiency, clean energy and clean technology. David has been intimately involved with the energy efficiency market in Ireland, working with the leading ESCOs and both private and public sector hosts.
Keith DriverPrincipal, SDCL UK
Keith joined SDCL in 2011 and focuses on financial advisory, capital markets, project development and fundraising projects in the renewable energy and sustainability space globally.
Keith has over 10 years’ experience in investment banking advisory, infrastructure and private equity funds, having previously spent six years as an investment analyst with Pantheon Ventures, a global asset management group, where his responsibilities included investment, fund formation, market research, portfolio management, valuations and marketing. Prior to this Keith worked for Close Asset Management Guernsey.
Keith has a BA (hons) in International Relations and International Security from Bradford University.
Aine ShaffreyAssociate Director, SDCL Ireland
Aine joined SDCL from Europe’s largest cleantech investment group and has a background in investment banking and equity capital markets.
Aine has a deep knowledge of the energy efficiency and renewable generation sectors.
John Behan, CFAVice President, SDCL UK
John joined SDCL in 2016 and focuses on financial advisory, capital markets, project development and fundraising, in the renewable energy and sustainable impact sector globally.
Prior to SDCL, he worked as an M&A Analyst and Associate within Centrica Plc a FTSE 100 energy company, focusing on buy side/sell side opportunities and infrastructure development projects across the energy sector.
John was the lead analyst on the project team that developed the market strategy and creation of Centrica’s Distributed Energy and Power Business. His particular focus was on UK solar and wind projects; along with distributed generation projects and acquisitions of energy retail businesses within the industrial and commercial sector.
John is a CFA® charterholder and has an Economics Degree from the University of Sussex
Florence DeschuyteneerAssociate, SDCL UK
Florence joined SDCL in 2017 and focuses on financial advisory, capital markets, project development and fundraising, in the renewable energy and sustainable impact sector globally.
Prior to SDCL, she worked in Brussels and Frankfurt as a Structured Finance Analyst and Associate within ING Group, focusing on finance of renewable projects in the EMEA region. She was the lead associate in the transaction origination and execution of French, German, Irish and UK wind and solar projects.
Florence passed her CFA® Level II examination in June 2017 and holds a post graduate diploma in Management from Ichec Brussels Management School, along with a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in translation (Russian and German) from Institut libre Marie Haps, Catholic University of Louvain.

Peter LauDirector, SDCL Asia
Peter has over 17 years’ experience encompassing Project Investment, Private Equity and Finance.
He focuses on origination, evaluation, execution and management of investments in energy efficiency and renewable energy projects in the Asia-Pacific region. He currently manages the financing programme with The Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB).
Before joining the SDCL’s Asia office, he was based in the London office focusing on the execution of a number of UK based transactions. Prior to joining SDCL, he was an investment professional in the Global Special Opportunities at HSBC Principal Investments focusing on renewable energy and clean technology. Peter was involved in a number of HSBC’s investments including a fuel cell manufacturer, a solar panel manufacturer and an electric car infrastructure services company. He managed HSBC’s renewable energy portfolio companies.
Peter is a CFA charterholder and a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). He holds an MBA with distinction from University of Southampton (UK). He is also a Council Member of Sustainable Energy Association of Singapore.
Ned DavisManaging Principal, US
Ned oversees SDCL’s New York subsidiary, Sustainable Development Capital, LLC, a broker-dealer registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and a member of FINRA and SIPC.
Ned also serves as Financial Officer for SDCL’s New York based alternative investment entities.
SDCL LLC focuses on effecting private placements of securities in the U.S., with related advisory, analysis, capital raising and sourcing of projects and partnerships.
Prior to joining, Ned was co-founder and Chief Investment Officer for the strategic equity investment advisory firm North River Capital LLC, and previously had served as Managing Principal of Taconic Capital Group Inc., an equity research securities firm, which he sold in 2011. In the 1990’s Ned was a partner and Senior Vice President for Lazard Freres & Co., and earlier for Oppenheimer & Co. At both firms he specialized in research and investment banking services related to technology services companies, REITs and non-bank financial companies. Ned holds FINRA registered licenses to serve as a managing principal, securities analyst, FIN-Op, and Investment Banker. He is a cum laude graduate of Williams College and received an MBA with distinction from Harvard University.
Martin MaxwellGlobal Operations Director, SDCL UK
Martin has been with SDCL since its inception in 2007 and has responsibility for managing and procuring telecommunications and IT services and for the administration of the group of offices globally.
Katarzyna PukaFinancial Controller, SDCL UK
Kasia is the Financial Controller for the Group.
Prior to joining SDCL, Kasia was a member of the Client Services team at Augentius Fund Administrators where she gained experience working on a range of private equity funds.
Kasia graduated from the University in Poland with Master degree in Accounting and Taxes and is qualified Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) with over eight years experience in financial reporting and accounting.
Olivia KentExecutive Assistant and Office Manager, SDCL UK
Olivia joined SDCL in August 2013 and acts as Executive Assistant to the CEO Jonathan Maxwell as well as Office Manager in London.
Olivia is responsible for the organisation and coordination of office administration and in the scheduling of external meetings. She also provides invaluable support to both the investment and advisory teams where required.
